oUR STORY:

A Legacy Inspired By Family

Nue Beginnings Residence Home, Inc. is the brainchild of two visionary sisters who sought to honor the legacy of their family matriarch, Virginia Vinson—a highly respected and sought‑after human services professional. Long before “person‑centered care” became a widely recognized philosophy, Virginia was already setting the standard.

Her approach was rooted in dignity, compassion, and genuine respect for every individual she served. She believed in seeing the whole person—not just their challenges—and worked tirelessly to ensure that care was tailored to each individual’s unique needs, strengths, and aspirations.

Guided by her example, the founders of Nue Beginnings Residence Home Inc, Sandra Chambers and Sonya Craig, built the organization on the same principles. What began as a tribute to a remarkable woman has become a thriving, statewide agency dedicated to carrying forward her values of service, integrity, and person‑centered excellence.

NBRH turns 20

NBRH Celebrates 20 years of Excellence!

Nue Beginnings Residence Home, Inc. (NBRH) proudly celebrates its 20th anniversary—marking two decades of compassionate, high‑quality service to children, youth, adults, and families across the state of Georgia. Our 20th anniversary year signifies longevity, excellence, credibility, and a meaningful history of creating impact. It is both a celebration of where we have been and a powerful statement about where we are going.

This milestone also aligns with a major expansion across both our service delivery lines—DBHDD and DFCS—demonstrating our ongoing commitment to growing with the needs of Georgia’s communities.

“Our 20th anniversary is a powerful reminder of why we do this work. For twenty years, we have been committed to delivering high‑quality, person‑centered care. We are honored to continue that mission as we expand into more communities and strengthen our partnerships across the state.”

For two decades, NBRH has stood as a pillar of support, beginning as a mission-driven effort and growing into a trusted, statewide provider serving both the Georgia Department of Family and Children Services (DFCS) and the Department of Behavioral Health and Developmental Disabilities (DBHDD). Through strong partnerships, dedicated teams, and unwavering compassion, we ensure that every individual we support receives dignity, stability, and the opportunity to thrive.

Our 20th anniversary is more than a milestone—it is a celebration of the families who invited us into their lives, the professionals who served with commitment, and the communities that have partnered with us to create lasting impact. As we look ahead, we remain committed to providing person‑centered, trauma‑informed, and community‑focused services that create new beginnings every day.
